Canvas is a traditional industrial textile used for covers and canopies. Initially made using cotton, evolution saw the introduction of a polyester for strength and stability. Nowadays technical waterproofing methods provide a functional outdoor fabric. Whilst offering a waterproof finish, our canvas fabrics can breathe to help control dampness and potential mould issues. Modern poly-cotton canvases are commonly used for tent walls, annexes, truck tarpaulins and general RV applications.

The benefits of canvas
Canvas is a heavy-duty fabric used for tarpaulins, canopies, swags, sails, tents, marquees, temporary shelters, trailer covers, campervans, backpacks, rugs, and countless other applications. Canvas materials offer a high degree of strength, and they can be blended easily with synthetic or natural fibres. When treated properly, canvas materials can be made waterproof and flame-resistant.
