ProTEX is the masthead brand for our range of outdoor textiles and fabrics marketed by The Nolan Group. The ProTEX coated PVC ranges all have a high tenacity polyester scrim, tear-stop polyester base cloth to enhance tear resistance and acrylic lacquer on both sides of the PVC surface.
Premium, heavy-duty PVC fabrics
The PVC itself incorporates only premium quality UVR stabilisers, sourced from the major European or US chemical companies. The fabrics meet the minimum performance standards of AS2930-1987 “Textiles – Coated Fabrics For Tarpaulins,” and all ranges except PT Extra, meet the physical criteria for classification into “Heavy-Duty,” as specified by the Australian standard.
