The Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street is Sydney’s newest LGBT nightclub and named after the 1960s carousel stage found hidden under more recent stages at the venue. Advertised as a “cabaret-inspired sleazy 70’s discothèque,” the bold red and black, plush, cut pile Katto carpet tiles in the main bar enhance the inspired theme.
